1. Your Right to Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. ShadeTree.IT LLC is committed to honoring these requests promptly and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, send an email to:

• The email address associated with your account
• Your display name or username (if applicable)
• A clear statement that you wish to delete your account and data

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon verification of your request, we will delete the following data:

• Your account authentication records that we control
• Your email address and account-linked identifiers that we maintain
• Saved rhythms and account-linked simulator configuration stored through the Service
• Other personal information directly associated with your account that we control

4. Processing Timeline

We will aim to acknowledge your deletion request within 48 hours and complete the deletion process within up to 30 days, subject to verification needs, system constraints, and third-party provider timelines. We will confirm when the deletion request we control has been completed.

5. Data We May Retain

After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked to your identity
• Records of transactions (if applicable) as required by tax or accounting regulations
• Information necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
• Residual technical logs, backups, or security records retained for a limited period by service providers

6. Third-Party Authentication

If you used a third-party social login provider to access the Service, you may also manage or revoke the Service’s access through that provider’s platform settings.

7. Third-Party Infrastructure Retention

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers, including Google Firebase. Deleting your account from our active systems may not immediately remove all data from backups, logs, or provider-controlled systems. Those providers may retain certain residual data according to their own retention schedules and legal obligations.

8. Local Browser Storage

Deleting your account does not automatically clear data already stored locally in your browser or device, such as local storage or session storage entries. You can remove that information through your browser settings.
